Albion midfielder Alex Mowatt has signed a new two-year contract, keeping him at The Hawthorns until the summer of 2027.
The 30-year-old, who joined the club in July 2021, has made 131 appearances across all competitions during his four-year stint so far - netting 13 goals.
He has started both of the Baggies’ Sky Bet Championship fixtures this campaign under new Head Coach Ryan Mason, helping his side to wins over Blackburn and Wrexham.
And Mowatt is delighted to be extending his stay in the Black Country.

“I’m buzzing to sign a new deal at this great club,” said Alex. “It’s a really exciting time for us at the moment.
“I’m happy and enjoying my football. We’ve had a good start to the season and hopefully it can continue.”
Sporting Director Andrew Nestor added: “We are really pleased that Alex has agreed to commit to an additional season at The Hawthorns.
“He has been a mainstay of the squad over recent seasons and provides us with continuity and control in midfield.
“His experience and character are of huge benefit and he will continue to add great competition for us in the number six position.”
