West Bromwich Albion’s 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign will begin with a home battle against Blackburn Rovers.
Ryan Mason’s first competitive clash in charge will take place at The Hawthorns on Saturday, August 9 (ko 3pm).
The Baggies’ opening away fixture on Saturday, August 16 is against last season’s Sky Bet League One runners-up Wrexham, who will be competing in the second tier of English football for the first time since 1981/82.
Mason’s men then host Portsmouth on Saturday, August 23 before travelling to Stoke City on Saturday, August 30 for what will be the last game that month.

Albion’s festive matches start on Saturday, December 20 when they travel to Hull City. Bristol City head to The Hawthorns on Boxing Day, with QPR visiting soon after on Monday, December 29.
The Baggies are away on New Year’s Day, taking on Swansea City in South Wales.
The 23rd and final home game of the season is a clash against Ipswich Town on Saturday, April 25, a week before the regular term ends at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, May 2.

Sky Sports selections notification
The Baggies’ opening day fixture against Blackburn at The Hawthorns has not been selected for broadcast on the Sky Sports Football main channel and will kick-off at 3pm as scheduled.
By Thursday, July 3, all matches selected for broadcast for the period to the end of September will be announced, and before a ball is kicked of the 2025/26 season, all TV selections will be confirmed for the period up to the FA Cup third round in January.
Selections for the remainder of January and February will be announced by Friday, November 7, while selections for the first weekend in March will be made by the first weekend in February.
Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be announced on a four-week rolling basis starting from February 1 (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March).
Selections for matches scheduled for the penultimate weekend of the regular season will be announced three weeks in advance, while selections for matches scheduled for the final weekend of the regular season will be announced the week prior.
By selecting TV picks early and giving much more notice, fans will be able to plan with certainty when making travel and hotel arrangements.
