Albion completed a sensational comeback to beat Swansea City 3-2 at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

Goals by Zan Vipotnik and Ethan Galbraith had earned the visitors an early advantage.

However, Aune Heggebø’s quick second-half double and a late Jayson Molumby strike turned the game on its head and gave Ryan Mason’s men an incredible, hard-fought victory.

Swansea raced into a two-goal lead, with Vipotnik netting inside 12 seconds, and Galbraith adding another from range around the 11-minute mark.

A shellshocked Albion side did have opportunities before half-time, but Isaac Price and Mikey Johnston saw low shots saved, and Sam Iling-Junior watched one get deflected wide.

Heggebø also guided a header over as the Swans remained 2-0 up come half-time.

Ryan Mason introduced four substitutes at the interval - and his team came out flying, scoring twice before the 51st minute through their in-form Norwegian attacker.

Heggebø halved the deficit almost instantly when play restarted, turning his defender and sending a low finish under Lawrence Vigouroux.

And moments later he was on hand again to smash a superb leveller home and send The Hawthorns wild.

Albion created plenty of chances to grab a winner, too. Callum Styles fizzed off-target, while Mikey Johnson and Heggebø were denied via good Vigouroux stops.

Thankfully, their third goal finally arrived - and it was Molumby who made himself the hero, slotting in following excellent build-up and ensuring the Baggies claimed three massive points.
