Albion returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory against Sheffield United on Friday evening.
Ryan Mason’s men - now seven unbeaten at The Hawthorns - collected all three Sky Bet Championship points courtesy of second-half strikes by Aune Heggebø and Karlan Grant.
The Blades created the first chance under the lights when Gustavo Hamer hammered one towards goal - only for Joe Wildsmith to produce a strong stop.
Albion did soon produce their own openings as Mikey Johnston saw a back-post volley well blocked, and Ousmane Diakite headed the resulting corner over.
Still, United remained a threat and Nat Phillips stood firm in stopping Tyrese Campbell’s run and shot, while Patrick Bamford had a relatively tame finish comfortably saved.
The teams exchanged a few more opportunities before half-time, too, but visiting midfielder Djibril Soumare fired over, and Baggies striker Heggebø hit a half-volley off-target.
The in-form Norwegian wasted no time netting straight after the break, though. He played the ball out to George Campbell, who returned an excellent low cross, which Heggebø expertly converted to make it 1-0.
And the Baggies doubled their advantage on the hour mark. Heggebø was involved again, playing Grant through to smash a superb shot home via the underside of the crossbar.
Albion then saw out the win during the final stages - keeping a clean sheet and extending a Hawthorns streak that stretches back to mid September.
