In the lead-up to Foundation Day - when the Baggies host Cardiff on Saturday, October 5 - we’re highlighting the life-changing programmes the club’s official charity operate in the local area.
The impact the community programme has on its participants can’t be underestimated.
‘Life-changing’, ‘phenomenal’ and ‘a godsend’ are just a few of the ringing endorsements our charitable arm has received.
The Foundation’s vision is to create a proud Albion family which is engaged, inspired and achieving its potential.
It uses the power of West Bromwich Albion to deliver excellence in three focus areas – Well-being, Behaviour Change and Active Lifestyles – to make a difference.
This year, the charity is calling on fans to ‘bring a pound to the ground’ to help their push for a new disability minibus.
Supporters who do not carry cash, or who will not be at the Cardiff game are welcome to donate £1 by texting TAF to 70470. Alternatively, visit the Foundation’s JustGiving page.
And the Club will match every pound raised by supporters as the Foundation looks to find the cash required to purchase the specialist vehicle.
