FCL strengthen links with Albion through Smethwick End branding

Logistics partner take on branding of the Smethwick End

FCL Global Forwarding, Albion’s first-ever logistics partner, enter the second year of their partnership with the club and, having seen the benefits of their association, have strengthened their links by taking on the branding of the entire Smethwick End.

Paul O’Malley, FCL Global Forwarding Ltd commercial director (pictured), visited The Hawthorns to rubber stamp the deal and was keen to see the new-look Smethwick End with FCL’s branding in place.

“The scope and exposure we will gain from the Smethwick End branding is second to none and I am delighted that FCL will now be seen as a major part of The Hawthorns,” he said.

“We have experienced tremendous growth across the UK in the first 12 months of our partnership. We see this as a great way to cement our commercial ties to the club and stimulate further growth still.

“Our logo complements the stadium well and I am sure supporters will be pleased to see a sponsor whose branding matches that of the Baggies.”

FCL Global’s managing director Kulbir Sohi said: “We believe in building long-lasting, meaningful and sustainable relationships with both our suppliers and customers, and these relationships are the cornerstones of our success, increasing our exposure at The Hawthorns represents an important part of this.

“We look forward to working closely with West Bromwich Albion over the coming seasons, in which both ourselves and the club will look to surpass the efforts of the previous 12 months.”

Albion head of commercial sales Iain Wain added: “FCL increasing their exposure at the club is an extremely pleasing development, one that rewards the hard work of the commercial department in making this important relationship a success.

“They are one of the fastest growing logistics businesses in the UK today and we look forward to continuing to help them achieve their aims in the coming years.”
