Line of Potential Programme

The Albion Foundation's Lines of Potential programme gives young people (ages 14-16) the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours, providing a platform to potentially move into a sport or football-centred career.

The programme allows participants the chance to gain over £150 worth of qualifications for just £30.

  • What a good coach looks like
  • Session Planning
  • Adapting a Session
  • Reflective Practice
  • Matchday Coaching

Qualifications: 

Mandatory

  • 1st Aid
  • Safeguarding

Passport to Volunteer:

  • Junior Sports Leaders

The programme consists of five sessions, starting in January 2026.

  • Session 1 - Wednesday, January 21, 2026
  • Session 2 - Wednesday, February 18, 2026
  • Session 3 - Wednesday, April 1, 2026
  • Session 4 - Wednesday, April 8, 2026
  • Session 5 - Wednesday, May 27, 2026

Venues will all be in West Bromwich and will be disclosed closer to the date of the session.
