Elite Disability Teams
The Albion Foundation have some of the best disability football teams in the world and are serial winners across different sports.
Albion Blind became the first to complete a domestic treble in the sport, winning the National Blind Football League, Brian Aarons Cup and Disability FA Cup. The squad contains plenty of homegrown talent, including Eesa Amjid, who discovered blind football when The Albion Foundation visited his school – the Birmingham-based forward also made his England debut at 15.
The club’s powerchair team, Albion Powerchair, are true powerhouses within the sport. Though they didn’t manage a piece of silverware in 2024/25, they still made the semi-final of the FIPFA Club World Cup in Paris. Captaining the side is the ever-present Chris Gordon, who was brought into the club at just 15, and has since won eight trophies at the Baggies.
Our Cerebral Palsy team picked up their latest honour by winning the Tier 2 Challenge Cup in 2025, following up their National Plate title from 2023. There were also two international representatives when England take to the IFCPF European Championship in Loughborough - Mason Dunbar and Corey Komorowski played at the tournament where the Para Lions reached the final.
