Albion's U18s fell to a 3-1 defeat at Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Dan Chimeziri opened the scoring for Leigh Downing's side in the 17th minute, but the Saints got themselves level just ahead of half-time through Brandon Charles.
With the fixture finely poised, both sides looked to find a second, yet it was two late strikes which would earn the hosts the win via Nicholas Oyekunle and Alejandro Rodriguez.
The result sees the Baggies finish their season ninth in the table having completed all 24 league fixtures.
