Albion Under-18s were defeated away to Brentford in their second U18 Premier League South campaign on Saturday.
The Bees controlled the match for large spells, and struck first through Jai Nwosu as he showed sharp movement in the penalty area to score past Will Rutter.
Midfielders Reece Bastafield and Danyal Iqbal tested Layton Nicholls, with the home shot-stopper well-positioned to save both efforts.
Though the hosts’ second would come just five minutes from the final whistle, Harry Biggs polished off a corner, before a trialist added a third in additional time - condemning the Baggies to defeat at Wheatsheaf Park.
