Justin Seven-Seven in action for WBA's U18 side

Albion’s U18 side put on a five-star showing to sweep Fulham aside at The Fitlife Foods Performance Centre on Saturday.

Chay Thompson’s in-form youngsters were 3-0 up at the break having played some excellent football. Danyal Iqbal got the first, nodding in a Reece Bastafield cross midway through the opening period.

Three minutes later, it was two. Striker Justin Seven-Seven raced clear and rifled the ball into the roof of the net.

And the lead was extended to three nine minutes before the interval. Bastafield’s dangerous in-swinging corner sailed all the way in.

The Baggies had to wait until the 74th minute to make it 4-0. The hosts played out from the back, worked the ball to right side where Harry French delivered along the surface for substitute Cole Dexter to finish – expertly flicking the ball into the far corner.

French then got in on the act six minutes later. The attacker received a quick throw from Dexter, cut inside and fired high past the Fulham goalkeeper.

The resounding triumph moves Albion up to third in the U18 Premier League South standings.

ALBION: Moses, Abudu, Perkins, Trialist (Shaw 70), Iddrisa, Gompe, Iqbal (Bythell 75), Bastafield, Letlat, Seven-Seven (Dexter 70), Francis-Caesar (Sankoh 75).
