Cole Deeming clapping his hands wearing the home kit in action for Albion's U18 side

Albion’s youngsters staged a stunning second-half comeback to defeat Southampton 3-2 at the club’s training ground on Tuesday afternoon.

The Saints opened the scoring shortly before the half-hour mark through an own goal and added a second on the stroke of half-time. 

However, Leigh Downing’s Baggies dug deep to turn the game around after the interval.

Two Cole Deeming penalties brought the scores level heading into the final 17 minutes.

Deeming then turned provider five minutes later, lofting a corner into the area where Cheik Kone rose highest to nod in the winner.
