Albion Under-18s lost 5-2 to Reading at The Fitlife Foods Performance Centre on Saturday afternoon.
The young Royals took a two-goal lead in at the break thanks to a Kallum Fuller-Thompson brace, with the visiting attacker taking his individual tally for the afternoon to four goals after the interval - either side of Ainsley Covus' effort - to put the Berkshire outfit out of sight in Walsall.
Reece Bastafield responded with two goals for the hosts in the closing stages, but it proved to be a day to forget for boss Chay Thompson's group as they slipped to a third U18 Premier League South defeat of the campaign.
