Albion Women are delighted to announce the signing of forward Tara Kirk from Peterborough United, subject to league approval.

The versatile forward joins the Baggies on a permanent deal, after scoring over 50 goals for The Posh across the last four FAWNL terms, including the last one - where they were promoted to the third tier.

Kirk is also a youth international with the Republic of Ireland, and has represented Leicester City, where she played from the age of seven, within their academy set-up.

The 23-year-old bolsters Albion’s attacking line-up ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

She said: “I’m so excited. It’s nice to get it over the line and I can’t wait to get started. Everyone has been so welcoming. I'm very fortunate with the way I’ve been accepted in the group, and I can't wait to do as well as I can for the club.

“I’m very impressed with the facilities. It’s really great that the women’s team get looked after so well here, and that was a big deal for me when joining.

“I’ve spoken with Siobhan Hodgetts-Still and Martyn Irvine. They’ve both been super welcoming and it’s been great to meet them and train under them. They’re both very ambitious and that matches me perfectly.”

Welcome to the Albion, Tara!
