Albion Women Manager Siobhan Hodgetts-Still believes her side executed a “professional performance” against Leicester City PGA at The Hawthorns on Sunday.
Early goals from Rhianne Oakley and Molly Kehoe allowed the Baggies to maintain their perfect start to the FAWNL Cup in front of an excitable crowd in B71.
The boss was pleased to see a dominant win, along with a fast start to proceedings at the Shrine.

“I'm really happy with the performance,” Hodgetts-Still said. “I thought it was a professional performance from the players.
“To start the game quite quickly, and create chances, it’s something that we've been asking the girls. We dominated the game for large parts and created some really good moments and some really good chances.
“Credit to their keeper, she’s pulled off two or three great saves. Two-nil, though, I’ll take the win, and two wins from two in this competition is positive.
“I think those fast starts are what's been missing over the last couple of weeks. I don’t think we've started as well as we did today.
“Fair play to the players for starting quickly, I thought we were on the front foot. Like I said, I think we created some very good chances, and I think today we put them away quite quickly.
“I don't think we were tested much throughout, if I'm honest. When the back four needed to step up, they did and then when Clarkey had to pull off that save, she did.
“I’m really happy with the squad performance today.”

Midfielder Monique Robinson made a huge impact against her former side, and believes it’s that “positive” performance that will keep the side’s confidence flowing ahead of their first match at the Alexander Stadium next weekend.
“I thought it was a really positive and professional performance,” Robinson said. “I think we created good chances and even towards the end we didn’t stop, we just kept going.
“I think we came here with good intentions and the people coming into the team had things to prove. Everybody showed that today and it was a great performance.
“I think as you can see, we were creating the chances, it’s just about taking them. I think if you look back at the last few games, we’ve not created as many, so to see that we created them is good – we just need to start putting them in the back of the net now.
“The fans were very loud today, we could hear them very well so that was good. We’re buzzing to start next week at the Alexander Stadium, it’ll be great to get going.”
The Baggies host Stoke City at the Alexander Stadium on Sunday, September 14 in their home bow at the Perry Barr-based ground.
