Albion Under-21s will play their second Premier League International Cup group match against Italian outfit Juventus on Wednesday night (ko 7pm).
Although they didn’t start the competition in the manner they’d have liked to last week, another exciting opportunity to put on a show at their first-team home lies ahead against a European heavyweight.

Last time out
Danish side FC Nordsjælland saw off the young Baggies last time around in the International Cup, winning 3-0 in B71.
Even though Leigh Downing's team created plenty of openings in front of goal, their inability to be ruthless with them proved to be their downfall - with Nordsjælland far from forgiving in their performance.
Venue
Once again, Albion’s PL2 team will play at The Hawthorns for their exciting European encounter against Juve on Wednesday.
Tickets will be available to purchase before the game online, or via the Halfords Lane Stand on the night.

Pre-match thoughts
Central midfielder Cole Deeming says he strives to be the “best player on the pitch” every time he represents the U21s, and hopes to raise the level of performance when Albion play Juventus on Wednesday night.
The fact Leigh Downing’s men don’t face European opposition on a regular basis means they’ve had to adapt their style and personnel to cope with the varying threats posed by their foreign counterparts - as proven by a fluid Nordsjælland outfit last week.
But with another opportunity to show their progress on the Hawthorns turf, Deeming believes that element of home advantage will give his team-mates an “edge” over their Italian opponents - insisting the privilege of playing the tie at the club’s home is something they must take full advantage of against Juve.

Deeming said: “This is our first time competing in the competition and the fact we play against Juventus next just shows how big it is for us as a club and as players.
"All of the the boys are looking forward to playing against such a huge club and it will be a massive opportunity to impress.
“It always puts an edge to proceedings when we play matches at The Hawthorns. It’s our stadium and being a massive Albion fan as well puts a bit more on the game for me too.
“It’s a good experience playing against foreign teams and it will be a good test to see how they play and how we adapt to their style on the night.
“I’ve been with the first team a lot this season and when I play matches for the U21s, for me, it’s about raising the level in games to the one we play at in first-team sessions and, for me, trying to produce the best performance I can on the pitch.”
