Sam Johnstone’s finest Baggies moments are captured in this week’s edition of Albion News, which features the club’s support for Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign.

England international Sam is set to make his 150th appearance for the club against Nottingham Forest on Friday night, and we take a look at some of the fantastic, spectacular and important performances which best encapsulate his Albion career to-date.

Baggies Head Coach Valérien Ismaël's latest instalment sees him point to going “one big step further” from their much-improved display against Blackpool in midweek by producing a winning performance against Steve Cooper’s east Midlands outfit.

And although Jake Livermore will be absent from the squad on Friday due to suspension, the skipper is confident Albion can get the winning feeling they all crave thriving once again after seeing his team-mates create countless goalscoring opportunities in their last two matches.

Vice-chair of Proud Baggies (Albion’s LGBTQ+ supporters’ group), Sarah Robinson, provides an important and informative column with the club once again showing their full support for the Rainbow Laces initiative in order to encourage equality and embrace diversity within the footballing community.

Albion will proudly support Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign when Nottingham Forest visit The Hawthorns on Friday

Towering central-defender Kevin Joshua stars in our latest academy Q&A, as he discusses his journey from the Republic of Ireland, meeting current Baggies assistant coach Adam Murray at Barnsley and establishing himself in the Albion mix as he targets further opportunities training with the first team.

Programmes will be available at several stalls in and around The Hawthorns on Friday night, and they can also be purchased from the Stadium Megastore - which is located outside the East Stand.
