The club will continue to celebrate 125 years at The Hawthorns with a specially-designed collection of its official matchday programme, ‘Albion News’, throughout the 2025/26 season.
The new look will launch at Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship opener against Blackburn Rovers, and the first cover of the campaign - which features Baggies attacker Karlan Grant - encompasses significant aspects of the club’s history at B71.

Its background is based on a stained-glass window, which was a feature in the original Hawthorns pub when Albion arrived at their home on September 3, 1900, while the Tony Brown statue is outlined in the shape of the panels.
The public house operated beside the stadium, with the very same window present on the programme cover remaining inside the building looking out at the Shrine to this day.
With the cover being dedicated to the Baggies’ home venue, elements of the stadium and those which have been key to forming the club’s history – hawthorn trees, a throstle, the Astle Gates and the iconic floodlights – make up this decorative collage.
An art nouveau font - commonly used during the period when Albion made The Hawthorns their home - presents the ‘Albion News’ title, while the back of the programme will be adorned by the ‘125 years at The Hawthorns’ logo and feature a poignant quote from various iconic Baggies figures on each home issue.
The inner workings of the club’s official match pages include the usual pieces of content; manager and captain’s notes, player interviews – starting with Norwegian striker Aune Heggbø – news from the academy, women’s team, The Albion Foundation, as well as an insight into our opposition from the away team’s local media.

It wouldn’t be a 125-year Hawthorns-dedicated issue without some more nostalgia, and this season’s programme has a number of new historical segments based on the club’s home, with the ‘Hawthorns Classics’ series beginning with an unforgettable night against Valencia in the UEFA Cup in 1978.
Iconic moments will be showcased via imagery in ‘Stunners at the Shrine’, while ‘Picture This’ will present a different series of snaps which will throw up some different angles of some historic moments at The Hawthorns.
Albion News will remain on sale at various stalls around the ground (outside the Astle Gates, Halfords Lane and Smethwick Road End) on matchdays, as well as in the Club Shop at the same price of £4 per copy.
If you miss out on any editions throughout the season, programmes are available on the Albion section of the Curtis Sport website here.
