Albion News on sale for Chesterfield FA Cup replay

FA Cup programme for Albion v Chesterfield

Conor Townsend and Taylor Gardner-Hickman provide all the headlines in Tuesday night's latest instalment of Albion News.

The Baggies No.3 netted a dramatic winner to secure a remarkable comeback win against Luton over the weekend, and Conor was in the spotlight for post-match media duties after the match.

Our midweek edition of Albion News features all the talking points from the 29-year-old's full-time interviews, including his thoughts on the current momentum in the squad, the structure and freedom they're playing with, and how he feels Carlos Corberán has impacted the team during his tenure in the Black Country.

The gaffer himself provides his usual instalment of manager's notes to kick off our programme content for the evening.

In it, the boss reveals how seriously he and his team are taking the Emirates FA Cup, and even though it adds another fixture to a busy schedule, Corberán is looking forward to giving more players an opportunity to impress under the lights as he looks to guide the Baggies to the fourth round.

On the game itself, Taylor Gardner-Hickman sat down to discuss the previous meeting with the Spireites and the current feeling around the team.

An Albion academy graduate, Taylor discusses the impact recent results have had on the morale in the first team, the need for another fast start when the Baggies take on Chesterfield, and his desire to impress the coaching staff with a spirited display at The Hawthorns.

As well as looking to reach the fourth round of the tournament, Gardner-Hickman also cites the importance of Albion's supporters in their recent run of form, as he and the Baggies look to reward them with another winning performance in B71 on Tuesday.

Our opposition section entails all the regular segments too, as we find out more about Chesterfield boss Paul Cook and the danger men to look out for on the night from the opposition.
