Albion announced the signing of attacking midfielder Hindolo Mustapha on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season on deadline day.
The teenager was named Crystal Palace’s Under-21s Player of the Season last year, aged just 18, after notching 11 goals and seven assists in all competitions. He was also nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season for his efforts.
On the international stage, Hindolo has played three times for Sierra Leone’s senior side, debuting against Chad in September 2024. He then went on to score in a 3-2 loss away at Zambia and assist in a 4-1 loss against the Ivory Coast in their AFCON qualifiers.
A Crystal Palace player since the age of nine, Mustapha worked his way through the ranks and has played regular football for their under-18s and under-21s over the past three seasons. He’s made 57 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and PL2, scoring 16 times and providing another 17 from midfield.
Hindolo spent time on loan at German side 1. FC Nürnberg earlier this season and will be hoping to kick on in the Sky Bet Championship for the second half of the campaign.
