Baggies youngster Dauda Iddrisa completed four full matches at right back for Italy recently at the UEFA U17 European Championships in Albania.
The 17-year-old, who signed his first professional contract earlier in 2025, helped his nation top Group B thanks to a trio of impressive triumphs.
Italy defeated Czechia 2-1 in their opening match, before going on to record a 4-2 victory over England in their second fixture.

Iddrisa’s team then won 2-1 against Belgium in the final group game, a result which set up a clash with Portugal in the semi-final.
The two continental heavyweights drew 2-2 in 90 minutes, meaning the tie went to penalties.
Unfortunately for Dauda and Italy, it was Portugal who prevailed 4-3 on spot kicks. The Portuguese went on to lift the trophy, easing past France 3-0 in the final.
