Albion Women’s Chidubem Arinze has been handed a call-up to the Nigeria U20 squad as they prepare for the U20 World Cup in Poland.
The 18-year-old spent last season on loan at Boldmere St Michaels, and has returned for pre-season with the Baggies, where she gained solid minutes in last weekend’s friendly with Swindon Town.
Arinze will link up with Christopher Danjuma’s side for their training camp ahead of the tournament which begins in Poland on Saturday, September 5. Nigeria will take on Spain, China and New Caledonia in Group F.
