Albion have completed the permanent signing of young defender Carter Pinnington from Liverpool.
The commanding centre-half, who will join the Baggies’ Under-21 team, has penned a three-year deal at The Hawthorns.
Pinnington had been with the Reds since under-7 level and made 19 Premier League 2 appearances for their U21 side throughout 2025/26, alongside showings in the UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy.
The 19-year-old was also part of a senior squad for Liverpool’s Carabao Cup encounter with Crystal Palace in 2025 - and England youth international Carter is pleased to make the move to the West Midlands.
“I’m extremely grateful to be joining Albion,” said Pinnington.
“I had offers from other clubs, but from the very first conversations I had here, it was clear to me that this was the right place for the next stage of my career and an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.
“I’m looking forward to getting started, working hard every day, and giving my all every time I put the shirt on.”
Welcome to The Hawthorns, Carter!
