Albion News on sale for Sheffield Utd tie

Sheff Utd Albion News

Zac Ashworth’s Baggies upbringing will be the main feature in Thursday night’s Carabao Cup edition of Albion News.

Gaffer Steve Bruce discusses his delight after seeing the level of performance his side have produced during their first two fixtures, and uses his column to demand the same intensity during their next game against the Blades in B71.

Bruce post-Watford

The Baggies boss believes his team's midweek outing will provide members of his squad with a chance to impress and get important minutes under their belts, and one player who will be pushing for senior involvement will be academy graduate Zac Ashworth.

Having recently been capped on the international stage for Wales at Under-21 level, the left-sided defender is the latest player to star in the ‘Talk us Through’ feature section of the programme, and the 19-year-old has several enjoyable experiences during his time at The Hawthorns to share.

From using the heartache suffered in the FA Youth Cup to fuel a Premier League Cup-winning journey, to making his senior and league debuts for his boyhood club, the young defender chats about the impact of his father on his career as well as his ambitions at the Albion.

Fellow countryman and Under-18s international shot-stopper Ronnie Hollingshead is the academy Q&A for the United game - and if you missed out on the reveal of the Albion News Official Collectors’ Album on Monday night, there’s still chance to purchase yours.

Details on where to secure these recently-released collectables can be found below.

2022/23 ALBION NEWS OFFICIAL COLLECTORS’ ALBUM

Baggies supporters can still purchase the new Collectors' Album, in partnership with Curtis Sport, both online and around The Hawthorns.

There are 192 stickers to collect, which include the Albion first team, Women’s, PL2 and Under-18 squads, as well as sections dedicated to our 300 club and promotion-winning campaigns of 1992/93 and 2007/08.

Fans can collect all 192 stickers by purchasing the matchday programme throughout the season.

Each Sky Bet Championship Albion News programme comes with eight free stickers, allowing you to complete your collection without having to buy a sheet of stickers. An additional eight will be included in Thursday’s Carabao Cup clash with Sheffield United at The Hawthorns.

The programmes and albums will be available to buy in the usual place from sellers in and around the ground, the Albion Club Shop and from the Curtis Sport website.

The album can also be purchased separately from the club shop and the Curtis Sport website. It is available for £3.95 when purchased separately.
