Norwich City beat Albion 5-0 in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday evening.

Goals by Oscar Schwartau, Ali Ahmed, Anis Ben Slimane, Ben Chrisene and Mathias Kvistgaarden earned the Canaries victory at The Hawthorns.

It was a tough start for Albion in wet and rainy conditions, with Norwich scoring after 16 minutes when Schwartau’s low effort found the bottom corner.

The hosts struggled to find their best during the opening stages but did still create chances. Karlan Grant and Sam Iling-Junior both headed over from crosses, while Krystian Bielik also glanced a whipped Callum Styles cross wide.

Iling-Junior then went mightily close just moments before the break, hitting a long-range curler against the post.

Eric Ramsay made a triple change at the interval as Jed Wallace, Jayson Molumby and Aune Heggebø were all introduced.

Norwich quickly doubled their advantage, though, via Ahmed’s finish four minutes into the second period.

And the visitors soon netted two more, courtesy of Ben Slimane and Chrisene strikes midway through the half.

Kvistgaarden tapped-in late on, too, securing City's fifth goal and the Championship points.
