Banana Protein Pancakes

These pancakes might look like a treat but they are super healthy and a favourite of the players at breakfast time!

This recipe will produce 10 pancakes


  • 1 large ripe banana, peeled and chopped up
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Spray Oil


  1. Place the banana in a mixing bowl and make a smooth paste using a fork or potato masher
  2. Crack the eggs into the bowl with the banana, add a scoop of whey protein powder then whisk together with a fork to make a batter
  3. Add the baking powder and cinnamon to the mixing bowl and whisk together thoroughly
  4. Coat a large non-stick frying pan with spray oil and heat over a medium - high heat. Add a tablespoon of the batter per pancake to the pan. Remember to keep them well spaced - you may only be able to cook three or four at a time
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and then flip them over and cook for another 2-3 minutes
  6. Repeat the process until you have used all of your batter
  7. Serve the pancakes on a plate and add berries and yogurt to serve
