WBA Former Players Association

WBA Former Players at 2026 AGM

Founded in 2003, the Association was built on a simple but powerful belief: once you play for Albion, you are family for life. That commitment to honouring the past, supporting the present, and protecting the future continues to drive everything we do. Our partnership with The Albion Foundation stands as one of the strongest expressions of that mission.

The Albion Foundation’s work across our community inspires us daily. Their dedication to inclusion, opportunity, and wellbeing reflects the values that have shaped generations of Albion supporters and former players. Whether it’s bringing people together through walking football, creating life‑changing pathways in blind and powerchair football, or supporting those living with dementia, the Foundation consistently reminds us what football can achieve beyond the pitch.

Our support for these programmes is unwavering. Over the years, we have proudly provided former players for fundraising events, cycle rides, golf days, and Pukka nights—each occasion reinforcing the unique bond that connects the Albion family. These moments are more than just events; they are reminders of the memories we share, the people we stand with, and the future we hope to build together.

As our partnership continues to grow, we remain committed to championing the outstanding work of The Albion Foundation. Together, we celebrate Albion’s heritage, empower its community, and ensure that future generations understand what it means to belong to the Albion family.

We are immensely proud of our ongoing partnership—and even prouder of what we will achieve together in the years ahead.
