Bio
Versatile forward Simran Jhamat has played at the highest level of the game.
Walsall-born ‘Sim’, as she’s known amongst her teammates, began her career with local outfit Sporting Khalsa prior to being snapped up by Aston Villa. She spent seven seasons there – gathering England youth caps along the way.
Liverpool soon enticed her to move to Merseyside and turn professional, being handed her WSL debut under boss Vicky Jepson.
Stints at Coventry United, Leicester City, Bristol City, and Lewes soon followed, before Jhamat returned to Coventry in 2022.
Head coach Siobhan Hodgetts-Still soon saw potential in Sim and brought her to The Hawthorns, where she managed seven goals in her debut season.
Since then, the forward has proved a reliable goalscoring option in the Albion ranks, bagging a further nine goals in 2024/25 – and it’s that shooting form that Jhamat will hope to recreate this season.
