Torbjørn Heggem has signed for Serie A side Bologna for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old defender joined Albion from Swedish outfit Brommapojkarna last summer and made 45 Sky Bet Championship appearances during the 2024/25 season.
His performances earned him a maiden Norway cap, with his nation going on to win in six of his seven international appearances to date.
Heggem was named the club’s 2024/25 player of the season by supporters and team-mates alike, after consistently delivering high level performances throughout the campaign.
