The young Baggies extended their unbeaten run to four matches heading into 2021 after a goalless draw away against league high-fliers Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.

Peter Gilbert’s side went into the game in confident mood after a comfortable 3-1 victory against Southampton in the game prior.

Tottenham, who sit second in the U18 Premier League table, also carried positive momentum into Saturday’s match having gone undefeated in their previous five matches.

But neither side were able to break the deadlock and despite the hosts going down to 10 men with 25 minutes left to play when defender Maksim Paskotsi was shown a straight red card, the Baggies couldn’t capitalise on their numerical advantage - ending 2020 in 10th place.
