Milly Round comes as a highly-regarded prospect as she makes the cross-Midlands switch from Aston Villa.
The 20-year-old arrives with plenty of promise after senior appearances with the Villains, while also enjoying time on loan at FAWNL Northern Premier outfit Stoke City.
Hailing from Cannock, Milly joined the Aston Villa academy at the age of seven and quickly shot towards being one of the brighter prospects in their youth ranks.
So much so, Round was selected for the England U16s, and then England U17s squad for their European qualifiers in Croatia. She scored against the host nation during a 4-0 victory at the Sinj’s Gradski Stadium, with her strike partner, England’s future Euro 2025 hero, Michelle Agyemang also on the scoresheet with a brace.
Milly also played alongside former Baggie Lucy Newell during that tournament, before going back to Aston Villa to continue her development, where she would play for the club’s most senior youth sides - the U21s.
Round even played against the Baggies in their Birmingham County FA Challenge Cup semi-final against Aston Villa. Ali Miller’s strike was enough to send the hosts through on the day at the Valley Stadium, but she still stood out against senior opposition.
The young forward went on loan to tier-three Stoke City, who play at the same level as Albion, midway through 2025/26, and she scored on her debut against Halifax in January, before being recalled to her parent club.
Round returned to Villa, and made her WSL debut against Manchester United just days after, and she went onto make several match day squads during the rest of the term.
Now with The Hawthorns to call home, Milly will hope to produce more senior minutes for the Albion in 2026/27.
