Nat Phillips believes there’s plenty of positive energy around the Baggies as they head into the final seven matches of the Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Albion return to action following the first international break of 2026 with two fixtures over the Easter weekend.
James Morrison’s side host Wrexham on Good Friday, before heading up to Blackburn Rovers on Easter Monday.
The Baggies had an unbeaten March, picking up draws against Sheffield United and Southampton and then victories over Hull City and Bristol City – results which moved them four points clear of the danger zone.
Phillips insists the squad are determined to maintain their momentum and says they’re focused on putting as many points on the board as quickly as possible.

The defender said: “The most important thing for us before the break was finding that run of form. We were really happy to do that and it would have been nice to keep that momentum going from a match point of view.
“Although we’ve not had the games, we’ve managed to keep that momentum going through the training that we’ve been doing during the international break. We’ve been building over the last few games and we want to take that forward into these last seven fixtures.
“The mood has been really positive after recent results and performances. You can see and feel that there’s a high energy around the place at the moment, and, as players, we’ve felt that in the stadium. It’s helped lift us, and it’s carried over into the training ground as well.
“We’ve got a big couple of games coming up over Easter, but every game between now and the end of the season carries huge importance. We need to try and get as many points on the board as early as possible.
“Momentum is going to be key and that’s something James Morrison has spoken about plenty of times. We’ve struggled to build momentum this season but we’ve got a chance to keep building it now. Our last four results have been positive and we’re all determined to continue moving forward.
“Our supporters are huge for us. We’ve felt their support so much in the last few games, especially against Hull City in our last home game. Their support feeds into the players, which then feeds into our performance.
“That relationship between the two can have a huge impact on the way we play, the energy in the game and the confidence in the players. We recognise we have to give them something to get excited about and a reason to sing and cheer.”
