Albion came from behind to beat Burnley 3-1 in the Sky Bet Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Backed by a huge Hawthorns crowd, strikes from Harry Whitwell and Isaac Price (2) turned the match around after an own-goal had put them behind.
The result makes it three competitive wins in a row for James Morrison’s men, continuing their perfect start to the 2026/27 campaign.
Isaac Price tested Clarets goalkeeper Max Weiss inside the opening five minutes - but it was the visitors who soon found a breakthrough.
Albion’s appeals for a foul were waved away as Burnley stole possession and broke forward, leaving the unfortunate Callum Styles to turn a cross into his own net.
But the Baggies regained their composure and hit back quickly, grabbing an equaliser through one of their own - Whitwell. JJ Morgan set up the academy graduate to side-foot home a leveller and net his maiden league goal at The Hawthorns.
The game continued to be an all-action affair during the first 45. Max O’Leary stopped Josh Laurent’s effort when Burnley attempted an immediate response.
And both teams had further chances ahead of the break, with Isaac Price seeing one goal-bound shot blocked and another comfortably held, while Armando Broja’s volley also hit the post down the other end.
Within two second-half minutes, the Albion edged ahead. Morgan was involved again, helping the ball to Price via a Burnley foot - and the Northern Ireland international fired in a fantastic finish.
Morrison’s team carried on attacking and got their rewards - the impressive Whitwell winning a penalty by being brought down, and Price confidently converting Albion’s third.
Burnley couldn't find a way back into the game after that, and it was a simple case of seeing out the rest of the match for the Baggies.
