Albion Women progressed to the third round of the Birmingham FA Cup with a comprehensive 17-0 win away at Kewford Eagles on Sunday.

Head Coach Jenny Sugarman inducted a host of Development Team players into the squad, handing debuts to Maia Clark, Nyara Denny, Kaice Griffin, Marsha Malik, Ellie McFarlane, Lucy Pugh, Annie Sime and Izzy Whittick.

Olivia Stubbs netted four goals while Malik and Denny both scored hat-tricks. Sime notched a brace, and Ash Brown, Abi Loydon, Portia-Milan Langley Wright and Freya Smith all added their names to the scoresheet. There was also an own-goal from the hosts, who play in the Birmingham County Women’s League.

The Baggies are back in action this weekend as they travel to Lichfield City in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup second round.
