Five West Bromwich Albion fixtures have been selected for live television coverage in the opening two months of the 2026/27 campaign.
The term begins on Saturday, August 8, with a first-round showdown against Rotherham United in the Carabao Cup. Albion's meeting with the Sky Bet League Two Millers at the AESSEAL New York Stadium will kick off at 5.30pm and will be shown on Sky Sports+.
The club’s first home match of the season against Burnley in the Sky Bet Championship has been moved to Sunday, August 23. The clash with the Clarets kicks off at midday and is live on Sky Sports Football.
New head coach James Morrison, who came through the academy at Middlesbrough as a player, takes his Baggies side up to the Riverside Stadium the following weekend. The battle with Boro remains scheduled for Saturday, August 29, but is set to start at the earlier time of 12.30pm. This particular encounter will also be shown live on ITV, as well as Sky Sports Football.
Albion’s home tie against QPR will also kick off at 12.30pm. The Londoners head to The Hawthorns on Saturday, September 12. The game is live on Sky Sports+.
And finally, the Baggies’ eagerly-anticipated meeting with local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers has been pushed back to Sunday, September 20. The Black Country derby at Molineux will start at midday and will be shown on Sky Sports Football.

TV selections from October 10 to New Year’s Day will be confirmed at the end of July.
