Albion Women have aims of finishing top of their FAWNL Cup group as they welcome Sporting Khalsa to the Alexander Stadium on Sunday afternoon (ko 2pm).
The Baggies have won both of their Group N encounters so far, and after boosting their chances of progressing to the knockout rounds on Wednesday by beating Birmingham City, they know top spot will be theirs with victory on Sunday.
And they come into this encounter full of confidence, after collecting their fifth win in-a-row in midweek.

It was a success at The Hawthorns in Charlie Fripp’s first match in charge at the Baggies’ home.
Jess Collyer, Taylor Reynolds and Tara Kirk all got on the scoresheet in the 3-1 victory in B71.
The opposition
Sporting Khalsa have made a promising start to their campaign back in the FAWNL Division One Midlands after relegation from the third tier last term.
Juan Dopazo’s side have won three of their first five league games and have shot to fourth in the league table.
They’ve been fairly solid at the back since returning to the fourth tier too, conceding just five goals - the third-best total in the division.
On-loan Ruby Millington, who joined temporarily from Stoke City for the 2026/27 season, has been their main source of goals, scoring six across their opening matches in all competitions.
Khalsa are level on points with Albion in Group N of the FAWNL Cup ahead of Sunday’s trip after beating Birmingham City PGA and Lye Town already.

Pre-match thoughts
Interim Head Coach Charlie Fripp will look back fondly on his first game in charge at the Shrine.
It was an impressive 3-1 victory in front of a buoyant crowd in B71, where they extended their winning run to five matches on the trot.
The interim Baggies boss knows the importance of momentum in the third tier after his side have steamed into several victories - even when at times not playing at their best - across their different competitions.
And with top spot in FAWNL Cup Group N on the table for Sunday’s clash with Sporting Khalsa, Fripp is hopeful of continuing their winning streak.
He said: “It was surreal to manage at The Hawthorns for the first time. You see the lights, you see the scoreboard and being in the dugout is a lovely feeling. I can’t thank the club, the staff, and everybody around enough for giving me the opportunity.
“We weren’t overly impressed with the performance, and we had to have some honest conversations in the huddle about some aspects of it. Sometimes football isn’t pretty, and you have to just get the job done.
“We still scored three, even though we weren’t playing at our best. I’m repeating myself a lot here, but it’s all down to the work of the individuals in the squad, and the staff’s work they put in.
“It’s always nice to see that, even when we aren’t at the best of our ability, we’re still managing to turn over results and matches.
“The objective is to go as far as we can in the competition. We’re looking to win the group and we’re glad to get ourselves in a great position to get to the next round. The girls have put in a lot of work across the last few weeks, they put in a huge effort against Rugby Borough last weekend too.
“The medical staff have been all over, ensuring we can have maximum player availability this week. It allows me and Ben Davis to do what we need to.
“We’ll be going for it 100 per cent on Sunday, games are there to be won, and we go into every match with that mindset. We enjoy being at the Alex, and they’re very accommodating.
“Sporting Khalsa will be a tough test for us, a physical encounter, but we’re ready for what’s ahead now.”

Once inside the ground, refreshments will be served from the middle kiosk, including pies, chips and hot drinks, alongside a selection of crisps, chocolate and sweets.
