Derby dates for the 2020/21 diary

Premier League derby days are back!

The Baggies have four fixtures to look forward to against local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa following last season’s promotion to the top flight.

Albion last met Wolves in the 2011/12 campaign when Roy Hodgson’s side completed the double – winning 2-0 at The Hawthorns and 5-1 at Molineux.

The Baggies also meet Villa for the first time in the Premier League since the 2015/16 season.

A 1-0 victory at Villa Park thanks to Saido Berahino’s first-half goal was followed up by a goalless draw at The Hawthorns.

And it’s a showdown with the claret and blues at The Hawthorns first up in terms of derby clashes, with the game scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 19.

Albion will then make their eagerly-anticipated return to Molineux. The fixture with Nuno Espírito Santo’s men scheduled in for Saturday, January 16.

The Baggies then have to wait over three months for their next local derby but will look forward to back-to-back clashes against their local rivals as the 2020/21 campaign reaches the crucial final stages.

Slaven Bilić’s side travel to Villa Park on Saturday, April 24 before hosting Wolves at The Hawthorns a week later on Saturday, May 1.
