Albion are proud to support Together Against Racism when they host Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

The campaign, which takes place across the league from October 16-26, unites the EFL and all 72 clubs in challenging racism wherever it occurs - and reinforces the message that racism has no place in football, online or within our communities.

At the Baggies, we remain committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to enjoy football free from racism and all forms of discrimination.

A key focus of this season's Together Against Racism campaign is encouraging supporters to report racism directly to clubs as soon as it happens. Evidence from across the EFL shows that early reporting gives clubs, stewards and authorities the best opportunity to identify offenders and take action.

Last season, 63 per cent of live racism incidents reported directly to clubs resulted in an individual being identified and action being taken, making direct reports more than twice as effective as incidents reported after a match. Almost nine in every 10 successful identifications came from reports made directly to clubs on matchday.

If you witnessracism inside The Hawthorns, you are urged to report it immediately. Supporters can report incidents of racism or discrimination directly to Albion by notifying your nearest steward, or calling/texting the dedicated hotline on 07929 221878.

The strength and power of football lies in its ability to unite people and create a sense of belonging but that can only happen when everyone feels respected and welcome. Reporting incidents of racism plays an important role in helping us achieve that.

Your report can make a real difference, helping us investigate concerns, take appropriate action and create a better matchday experience for all our supporters. Together, we can all ensure football remains a place where everyone belongs.

Albion’s players will be wearing special ‘Together Against Racism’ warm-up t-shirts on Saturday to help raise awareness of the campaign.
