Albion will complete a warm weather training camp in Portugal as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.

James Morrison’s squad are set to spend almost a week in the Algarve, concluding with a friendly against Sky Bet League One side Bromley on Friday, July 17 (ko 7pm).

The pre-season clash will be played at a neutral venue - Estádio da Nora in Albufeira - which supporters can attend.

Ticket details are currently being finalised. They will be announced to Baggies fans at the earliest available opportunity.

The trip is the final piece of the club’s pre-season puzzle, which officially began on Thursday when the first group of players reported to the Fitlife Foods Performance Centre.

Albion’s opening friendly will be behind-closed-doors against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, July 11 before they fly to Europe.

The Bromley game in Portugal is next, before they return home and face Shrewsbury on Saturday, July 25.

And Morrison’s men then visit Peterborough on Saturday, August 1 - with the competitive action due to begin the following weekend versus Rotherham in the Carabao Cup.
