Felix Horn Myhre has established himself as one of the leading midfielders in the Eliteserien, and now has the chance to showcase his abilities at the Albion.
Having starred in his domestic league, and featured in all three levels of UEFA competition (UEFA Champions League qualifying, Europa League and Conference League) - the midfielder brings perfect pedigree to aid the Baggies’ efforts this term.
Let’s begin by running the numbers via his Norwegian counterpart Aune Heggebo, as the pair reunite after playing together at Brann. The two featured 121 times alongside each other in Bergen, and won 2.11 points per game (PPG) while on the field at the same time - combining directly for six goals.
But apart from having a familiar face to help him settle in at The Hawthorns, what else can we expect from Myhre?
Felix usually operates on the left of a midfield three for Brann, completing wide triangles with his neighbouring full-back and winger, and paints and accurate picture in and out-of-possession.
For a midfield option, his goal contributions do the majority of the talking as to how he prefers to operate towards the top end of the pitch - and with the 2026 season halfway towards its completion in Norway, it’s best to look at his statistics from the 2025 campaign, where Brann finished fourth in the Eliteserien - the country’s top division.
Myhre notched four goals and claimed three assists across 24 appearances, and he clearly gets into plenty of goalscoring positions - perching in the best seven per cent for expected goals (xG).
Brann supporters have also come to expect the unexpected from the midfielder, and there’s no better example than his overhead kick against Vålerenga in September of 2025, just a week on from his first goal for his nation.

The 27-year-old is always ready to receive possession on the half-turn, and moves swiftly to ensure his team can be on the front foot as quickly as possible - with Myhre at the heart of those moments in the final-third. The Norwegian created 35 chances across the 2025 season in his homeland, a number that would place him in the top 10 per cent of midfielders.
Trusted to elegantly knit together build-up phases to attacking moves, Felix can often be found between the lines producing a smart turn or some quick feet to evade opposition challenges, as shown by him ranking within the top three per cent of the league’s midfielders for successful dribbles across the course of the season (35).
Those mazy runs, which frequently create space for either himself or his team-mates, lead to him scampering into the opponents’ penalty area at a rate of 5.78 touches per 90 minutes played, meaning he’s in the top five per cent of midfielders for the metric.
Off the ball, Myhre was in at least the top 30 per cent for possession won in the final third, ball recoveries, clearances and attempted tackles as part of Brann’s ninth-best defensive record in the Eliteserien.
A graceful midfielder with the ability to beat a defender or two, Felix will certainly look to dazzle The Hawthorns faithful, especially when he has the ball at his feet.
