Welcome back to ‘The Albion Girls’, our feature in which members of West Bromwich Albion Women’s squad reveal all about their team-mates!
Ella Haughey kicked things off in the opening episode, while fellow defender Taylor Reynolds tackled the questions in episode two.
Next up to dish the dirt, as well as the compliments, on her peers is Welsh midfielder Seren Watkins.

Who feels the cold the most?
Izzy Green. Marli Rhodes does too, but Izzy Green will turn up in the summer to pre-season training with a t-shirt, a quarter-zip and a raincoat on.
Which player has particular traits on a matchday which they stick to religiously?
Simran Jhamat fusses a lot with her hair and her wrap for her shinpads and all that. Sim will play with her socks a lot to make sure they’re just perfect for matches.
Which player complains the most?
Ellie May. She loves to moan and complain. Rounders comes to mind. We played in the summer and she just did not want to join in whatsoever. Ellie hates rounders. She has very high standards which I think is a good thing, but she does love a whinge. We love her, though.
Who is the best trainer?
Ellie May or Ella Haughey. They both work so hard. They’re always pushing as hard as they can to get everything out of sessions and they drive the standards.
Who is in charge of the music in the dressing room on a matchday?
We’ve had a few take that job on to be fair. I’d want Rhianne Oakley in charge of the speaker personally. She’s got some banging tunes.
Who has the worst banter?
I would love to say Hannah George to this and I’m only saying that because her banter is actually really good. I hope she reads the answer to this question and thinks it’s good banter.
Who is good value to sit by on the coach to and from away games?
I sit by Rhianne Oakley, so I kind of have to say Rhi, don’t I? We do like to play the same music at the same time. We sit next to each other, put our headphones on and press play at the same time on the same songs on our own phones. We don’t talk to each other really, we just sing to each other while listening to exactly the same song. We do play cards sometimes. We love playing cards.
Who is the busiest?
I don’t think this is her being busy in a bad way or a teacher’s pet kind of way, but Liv Rabjohn needs to be busy because she’s the captain and she has to lead and be that link between the squad and the management staff. I don’t feel like she’s overly busy in a bad way. She’s busy in a good way.
Who is most likely to get lost in their home city?
I don’t really have a reason for this but I’m going to say Ruby Heselden. I just look at her sometimes and think she’ll get lost somewhere.
Who spends the most time getting ready?
I’m speedy. Couldn’t be me. Maybe Taylor Reynolds. It takes her a while. I can’t tell you exactly how long it takes Taylor, but I can tell you how long it takes Ellie May to curl her hair. I was waiting for ages. That’s all I’ll say.
Who is the funniest member of the team?
I’m quite funny, but I don’t find myself funny. There are loads of the girls who are funny to be honest and we have so many laughs. But, on reflection, I’m taking that one.
Who gets the most stick off the gaffer and the coaching staff?
Lavarna Johnson. She does not help herself that girl. She just walks into it.
Who has the best taste in fashion?
Marli Rhodes. She puts a lot of time and effort into her outfits so everything looks coordinated. I really like it. I compliment her on her style a lot to be fair.
Who is most likely to pick up a fine?
Taylor Reynolds. She always leaves her stuff behind. She leaves boots, rubbish. Anything she can leave behind, she normally does. She’s always getting fined.
