Baggies favourite Andy Johnson admits he can’t wait to resume commentary duties for the Club’s iFollow and radio service during the run-in.
“AJ” has signed up to provide expert analysis alongside commentator Gez Mulholland for the remaining nine games of the Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Andy has loved his switch ‘behind the mic’ on iFollow this season and has got the old pre-match buzz of his playing days as he waits for his own “restart” with Saturday’s local derby against Birmingham City at The Hawthorns.
The ever-popular midfielder-turned-summariser says: “I’m so, so excited for Saturday and the remaining games of the season.
“It’s been so long since we’ve watched competitive football and I just can’t wait for the games.
“It’s what we’ve all been waiting and hoping for and now it’s nearly time for the action to kick-off. I’m buzzing.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch this impressive side Slaven Bilić has put together this season and I’m so glad that they’ve got the opportunity to finish the season.
“Gez has already told me that he’s bought some biscuits for half-time too which is an added bonus.
“Saturday can’t come quick enough.”
