West Bromwich Albion travel to Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon where they will be on the hunt for a second successive Sky Bet Championship victory (ko 3pm).

The Baggies earned an impressive 5-2 win over Hull City last weekend, with John Swift, Darnell Furlong, Karlan Grant and Dara O'Shea all on target.

Hosts Huddersfield narrowly missed out on a place in the Premier League last year having lost the play-off final to Nottingham Forest at Wembley.

They've had a challenging start to this term though and sit inside the bottom three with just three points to their name from their first four matches.

Huddersfield Town will be hoping to string a few positive results together before the international break in September to try and help propel them up the Sky Bet Championship table.

Last season's beaten play-off finalists have suffered three defeats in their four opening league games and will start the weekend inside the bottom three.

Carlos Corberán left his role as head coach in the summer, while key players Lewis O'Brien and Harry Toffolo departed to join Nottingham Forest - the club who won promotion to the top flight at the expense of Town.

Danny Schofield, Corberán's assistant, was quickly promoted to the top job having also played for the club for a decade, making close to 300 appearances between 1998-2008.

Despite their three league losses, Huddersfield did win their most recent home fixture, securing a 3-1 triumph over Stoke City.

The Terriers will be targeting a second league victory on Saturday

Albion's last win at Huddersfield was in the third round of the FA Cup back in January 2010.

Late goals from Graham Dorrans and Chris Wood sealed a 2-0 victory.

One for the stattos

Wallace celebrates his first goal in Albion colours

Albion came from two goals behind to earn a 2-2 draw at Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

Jed Wallace’s brace cancelled out early efforts by Terriers midfielder Tino Anjorin to secure a share of the spoils in Yorkshire.

Steve Bruce’s team return to action with a trip to Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night.

Steve Bruce named an unchanged XI from last weekend’s 5-2 win against Hull City.

But his men were a goal down inside 11 minutes, Anjorin curling home from the edge of the box following a clever corner routine.

And Huddersfield doubled their lead on the half-hour mark. Anjorin, perhaps controversially, pickpocketed O’Shea before running through and finishing past David Button.

Yet the visitors dusted themselves down and pulled one back before the break – Grady Diangana beating his man and crossing for Wallace to convert his first since joining in the summer.

Within 12 minutes of the restart they were then level, and it was Wallace again. A good cross from Jayson Molumby was flicked on by John Swift, and Albion’s right-winger was on hand to send a volley into the top corner.

The Baggies were now in full flow and searching for a third – Karlan Grant seeing a fierce shot saved and the impressive Diangana smashing narrowly wide.

Yokuslu nodded Darnell Furlong’s brilliant ball off-target as the clock ticked closer to full-time, and Huddersfield might have stolen it when substitute Jordan Rhodes headed narrowly wide.

Three minutes from the end Albion had a very strong penalty shout turned down, despite Grant appearing to have been fouled inside the area, though the hosts also hit the post via Josh Ruffels’ effort.

Five minutes of stoppage time brought one final push – however the points were shared from an entertaining game at the John Smith’s Stadium.
