Here are some Frequently asked Questions regarding Matchday and Tickets. If you cannot find the information you are looking for please click here to submit an enquiry or call the Ticket Office on 0121 227 2227.

Why are the roads around the stadium closed before and after the game?

The roads are closed from 90 minutes before kick off until at least 30 minutes after the full time whistle. This is to protect pedestrians arriving and leaving The Hawthorns on a matchday.

How can I book car parking for a match?

We have very limited car parking spaces at The Hawthorns and unfortunately we do not have matchday car parking available to book. There are a number of privately owned car parks around the Stadium, many of which can be found by searching “Car Parking near The Hawthorns” in an online search engine. Please note we do not control these facilities so you will need to contact the provider directly and the Club have no responsibility over these car parks.

Is there public wi-fi available on a matchday?

We do not have public Wi-Fi networks available on a matchday.

Can you smoke at The Hawthorns?

The Hawthorns is a non-smoking stadium, which includes the use of electronic cigarettes and vaping. If you are caught in the Stadium smoking cigarettes or electronic devices you will be ejected.

How do I get an announcement on a matchday?

If you have a special announcement that you would like read out or to appear on the big screen please contact with as much notice as possible. There is no charge to have a message read out but it is available on a first-come first-served basis with a limited number of slots.

What time do turnstiles open on a matchday?

Turnstiles open from 1 ½ hours before kick off.

When will I be able to buy a season ticket or match ticket?

We are awaiting instruction from the football governing bodies and the government about the next stages of fans being permitted to attend matches. When we have more information we will announce the details of what supporters are able to do in relation to match tickets.

Please note that all season ticket seats will be held for current occupants for when we are next able to go on sale and there will be an exclusive renewal window for existing season ticket holders.

Thank you for your patience, we understand you are raring to get back to The Hawthorns and we can't wait to welcome you back!

How can I buy a match ticket?

The easiest way to buy match tickets is online at, and log in with your My Albion account.

You can buy tickets from the Ticket Office by visiting or calling 0121 227 2227. We encourage supporters to purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

Why can’t I book my ticket online?

Firstly please check that you have logged in to your My Albion account. If you have not yet set up an account or are unable to log in please visit the My Albion FAQs section for further advice.

If you are logged in and still cannot purchase a match ticket please check the online sale dates. Tickets go on sale usually around 5 weeks prior to a game but are on a priority basis with Away Season Ticket Holders, Season Tickets Holders and Members having the first opportunities to buy. After this some games may go to loyalty point priority, if you believe you have not been allocated the correct number of loyalty points on your account, or that you should qualify to purchase tickets and you can’t please contact and include your Customer Number in the email.

What are loyalty points?

Loyalty points are allocated every time you buy a season ticket or match ticket, and these are used to calculate priority windows for high-demand tickets. Loyalty points are automatically allocated to your account. You can only earn loyalty points on one ticket per match so it is of great importance that if you are buying more than one ticket you allocate each ticket to the recipient to ensure they earn their loyalty points.

Loyalty points cannot be added retrospectively so ensure you use the correct Customer Number to buy your tickets.

Loyalty points are awarded as follows

  • Season Ticket: 1,000 points
  • Season Ticket from the previous season: 500 points
  • Home / Away League ticket: 5 points
  • Home Cup ticket: 10 points
How can I buy tickets on behalf of someone else?

The easiest way to renew someone else’s season ticket or buy them match tickets is to add them to your Friends and Family. You can do this online when logged in to your My Albion account at or by contacting the Ticket Office.
