Albion completed the permanent signing of young defender Carter Pinnington from Liverpool in June 2026.

The commanding centre-half, who joined the Baggies’ Under-21 team initially, penned a three-year deal at The Hawthorns.

Pinnington had been with the Reds since under-7 level and made 19 Premier League 2 appearances for their U21 side throughout 2025/26, alongside showings in the UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy.

He was also part of a senior squad for Liverpool’s Carabao Cup encounter with Crystal Palace in 2025 - and England youth international Carter will be keen to embrace this new challenge in the West Midlands.
