Defender Ruby Heselden joined Sporting Khalsa on a season-long loan in December 2025.

Heselden had initially made the switch to The Hawthorns after a successful senior spell at Northampton Town.

The 19-year-old was named the Cobblers’ 2024/25 Player of the Season after logging 12 clean sheets and three goals in 28 appearances.

Left-footed and quick off the blocks when covering space in-behind, Heselden will use her experience at fellow FAWNL Northern Premier side Sporting Khalsa to try and break into Siobhan Hodgetts-Still’s team in 2026/27.
