Dexter was a late addition to the Albion Under-18s squad during the 2025/26 season. 

A big presence at the top of the pitch, Cole was born in Shrewsbury - growing up locally in Telford. 

Unsurprisingly, he got straight into Shropshire football at local team, Randlay Eagles. 

Sunday League football was an important experience for the striker, with local sides paying attention to the forward's growing reputation - AFC Telford United being chief among them, where his development continued between U11-U16s. 

Cole impressed for the Bucks in their youth ranks, regularly finishing as the youngsters' topscorer throughout the age groups - which made the Baggies take note. 

There was plenty of back and forth between Dexter and Albion, with the forward initially joining on trial during the U15s stage but instead of signing, the youngster opted to take time out of football for a short period. 

But after proving himself again with Telford, Cole returned for another trial with the Baggies - this time for good, penning a scholarship deal in September 2025. 

Although injuries hampered the striker's involvement somewhat during his first term, Dexter will be intent on producing a big season during his second year as a scholar during the 2026/27 campaign.
