Tireless forward Ellie May is another vital cog in Siobhan Hodgetts-Still’s side.

A product of the Derby County academy, where she gathered recognition at England youth level before heading stateside to turn out for Rider University via a spell at Leicester City.

Ellie rejoined the Rams to help steer them towards a second-place finish in the FA WNL Northern Premier Division before joining Burnley in 2022/23, where she became a first-team regular.

She then joined Women’s Championship side Sheffield United prior to her switch to the Baggies, where May got well-amongst the goals in 2024/25 – scoring seven in the league.
