Abdul was another late addition to the Albion academy setup. 

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, the defender has grown up in Wolverhampton since 2010. This was where his footballing education took off, playing Sunday League games for Penn Colts, CS Colts on Saturdays, prior to a showcase team, First Touch, providing Abdul with the platform to show his potential. 

A trial game for his showcase side against Cheltenham Town was where the aggressive centre-half caught the eye of the Baggies' youth staff, who invited him for a trial in B71. 

It proved to be a successful opportunity, with Abudu first joining the club during the U15 season - where the centre-half began to exhibit the physical attributes needed to fulfil his potential at the heart of defence. 

He became a scholar with his fellow first-years in the summer of 2024, penning a two-year scholarship contract. 

An aggressive, focused athlete, Abdul will be focused on improving his skills to prepare him for the professional stage ahead.
