Chimeziri penned professional terms with Albion in the summer of 2025. 

Born in Hackney, Dan began a new chapter of his life by moving from the capital to The Hawthorns in June 2023. 

Previously on the books of Queens Park Rangers as a youth player, the forward penned a two-year scholarship deal to continue his development with the Baggies.

A striker, who's been deployed as an attacker on either side of the field during his early career in B71, Chimeziri began his maiden term as a scholar in good goalscoring form, utilising his physicality and presence up top to claim seven goals and eight assists.

The 24/25 season saw the powerful target man equal those goalscoring figures during games for both the U18 and U21 age groups prior to an injury which ruled him out until April. 

His performances in those matches exhibited his capability at a higher level, scoring in the Premier League 2 and National League Cup competitions - with the latter proving Chimeziri could compete against men and warranted him earning a year to repay the trust placed in him, which was confirmed in July 2025. 

Having missed a large period of game time during the back end of the 24/25 campaign, Dan will want to make up for lost time and prove his ability in Albion's professional ranks.
